Regretted Attrition aliases: regretted turnover, regrettable attrition
Departures of employees the company wishes it had kept.
The fork, why two teams get different numbers
The disagreement is entirely about who gets classified as "regretted." Some orgs let the departing employee's manager decide at exit; some use a performance-rating cutoff (every leaver rated "meets expectations" or above); some use a top-talent or high-potential flag that was set before the person resigned.
